This page describes some of the changes/improvements made
to recent versions of DncRemo 3.0.
Improvements:

- 3.0c When running on Windows95 the small 'Remo' task box would sometimes 'hang' when some functions Such as 'Clear Display' or 'Exit' were accessed. - Fixed in this update.
- 3.0d Improvement/bug fix to the remote 'remo' functionality.
- 3.0f Improvement to the remote 'remo' functionality specifically in cases where the CNC filenames are alphanumeric such as by Okuma where the filename is something like EXAMPLE.MIN
- 3.0g In some rare cases blank lines/empty blocks may be appended to the end of a file transfer. In other rare cases some program blocks may be cut from the end of the file transfer. Fixed in this version.
- 3.0h to 3.0m only released to select users/field testers during late Feb/Early March 2007
- 3.0n Added the ability to connect to remote RS232 port servers using TCP/IP instead of virtual com ports. Also added 'Start All and Kill All' buttons and menu items to start/kill/minimize/show all remo tasks without doing them manually one at a time. Added a new option to setup which will auto-start the selected remo tasks whenever the software is started.
- 3.0p Improved the 'AutoStart' option so that 'Remo' mode is automatically started.
Also removed the AutoRepeat when xOn/xOff WAIT option is enabled.
- 3.0q Bugfix to the 'ForceCR/LF' option.
Updates on this page are only for users of 'DncRemo' version 3.0 If you're using easyDncXP 2.1 but would like to try this new version 'Remo 3.0 then simply download the Full Installation and install. It doesn't install into the same place on your computer as easyDncXP 2.x so there's no conflict of versions.

We've left 3.0p available for download. If you update to 3.0q but wish to return to 3.0p for any reason
then simply download and install the 3.0p update file.
How to install this update.
The update will install automatically into the program default folder (usually C:\program files\dncremo) If you've moved the software to a different folder then, before you install, you'll be able to select a 'browse' button to navigate to the folder where the software is installed. After the update, restart the software and check the version to confirm that the update was successful.
